Biography

I am currently developing my professional activity as a consultant specialized in strategic planning and knowledge management for international organizations, public institutions, and business forums, with 20 years of professional experience in various countries in Africa, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Among the functions that I have performed in different organizations, are those of:

  • Member of the Secretariat for the INTERREG III B MAC Program of the European Union.
  • Advisor at the AECID Cooperation Office in Cape Verde.
  • Specialist in Management and Coordination of Official Aid for Development at the United Nations in Cape Verde.
  • Coordination Specialist and Special Assistant to the Resident Coordinator at the United Nations in Angola.
  • Regional Coordination Specialist at the United Nations Development Group for Latin America and the Caribbean (UNDG LAC) in Panama.
  • Knowledge Management Specialist for Latin America and the Caribbean of the Knowledge, Innovation and Capacities group at the UNDP Regional Center in Panama.
  • Strategic Planning and Partnerships Specialist at UNICEF Headquarters in New York.

As a consultant I have collaborated with United Nations agencies, European Union programs, bilateral cooperation agencies, national, regional and local government institutions, foundations, and business and social responsibility forums, in areas such as:

 

  • Strategic planning.
  • Formulation of projects and programs.
  • Design of knowledge management strategies.
  • Implementation of the 2030 Agenda.
  • Methods of analysis, evaluation and systematization of projects and programs.
  • Institutional capacity development processes.
  • Facilitation of national and international forums and meetings.

My education

In my interest to expand my knowledge, I am currently following the doctoral programme in the area of Regional Development.

I possess a Master in Evaluation of Public Policies, a Master in Information and Knowledge Management in Organizations, and a Bachelor in Business Administration.
